Job Specifications:

Maintain financial records and transactions
Assist with payroll administration
Complete statutory returns on schedule Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and records
Petty cash management
Conduct financial analysis on a case-by-case basis
Conduct a document review and verification
Accounts payable and receivable must be maintained and reconciled
Manage both payables and receivables
Prepare bills and follow up on accounts receivables in a timely basis
Carry out monthly and annual closure responsibilities
Carry out any more related duties as required

Qualifications and Experience for the Position

Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Possessing professional accounting credentials such as a CPA or CMA will be considered an asset.
Must have a minimum of five years’ experience in accounting, preferably in a contracting company. Must be conversant with UAE accounting standards and procedures.
Expertise in Quick Books and MS Office is necessary, as as experience working in a construction or contracting company.
Must be familiar with VAT legislation.
