Job Description

Job Summary: Looking for an Assistant Accountant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

  • Record financial transactions and post to various books
  • Process payments, carry out daily banking activities as well as reconciliations
  • Post supplier invoices in the system
  • Handle petty cash, prepare financial reports and reconcile reports
  • Post all petty cash expenses into the system
  • Create and implement controls around sales, stocks, cash as well as purchases
  • Prepare and remit all statutory returns on time
  • Carry out business reporting for both internal and external purposes
  • Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • At least 1+ years of experience in the same field
  • Must be familiar with the accounting software packages
  • Should be able to handle pressure
  • Good communication skills required
  • Should have good knowledge of the Ms Office suite packages
  • Female candidates are preferred
  • Only Tagalog speakers can apply
  • Strong business correspondence skills
  • Should be able to communicate well in English
