Assist in ensuring the efficient operation of the shift by providing excellent customer service and effective employee supervision. Promotes the intended work culture centered on the InterContinental Hotels Group’s five fundamental principles of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team, and Service, as well as the brand concept.
- Make every effort to settle any complaints during shift and to document all complaints in a log book for future reference
- Conducts cash handling and banking operations
- Ensure that daily banking and cash flow reports are prepared.
- Create and train employees on cash security processes
- Notifies or resolves issues with erroneous payments
- Oversee the upkeep of service equipment.
- Maintain high standards for guest accommodations and services.
- Maintain inventory control and keep an eye on security processes.
- Assist with the preparation of menus and wine lists
- Observes and supervises coworkers during shifts and functions
- Supervise the service provided by the outlet section.
