(United Arab Emirates, Dubai) A 4 star hotel is looking for a Chef De Partie (South American Cuisine).
About the Position:
As Chef De Partie (South American Cuisine), you are in charge of daily food preparation and other duties that must be completed in order to fulfill the defined standards and characteristics.
Among the responsibilities and vital job functions include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Sous Chef with day-to-day operations and duties.
Control food supply and food costs in his division. Maintain the highest standards and consistent quality in daily kitchen preparation.
Temperature control for ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
Take food from the freezer and place it in the refrigerator to defrost.
Coordination and participation with other needs, cleanliness, waste, and cost control sectors
Maintain hygienic conditions in the work area at all times in accordance with the hotel’s guidelines.
Ensure that food is of good quality and that it is properly preserved.
Previous work experience as a Chef de Partie or good experience as a Demi Chef de Partie South American Cuisine is required.
