Job Description

We are looking for Commis I (Hot Kitchen & Pastry) to join our kitchen department. Interested applicants should submit/upload updated CV with recent photo manually. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted by HR Department.

POSITION SUMMARY

· Support Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work

· Work according to the menu specifications by the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie

· Keep work area clean and hygienic at all times, according to the rules set by the cafe

· Control food stock and food cost in your section

· Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the kitchen

· Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks

· Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques

· Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control

Qualifications:

– Should have hospitality background

– Should have experience working in a 3 or 4 star hotel

– should have a strong background in kitchen department

– should have a positive attitude
