Job Description

Skills Required:

·Customer-Service: Have to interact with customers. Demonstrate a friendly and courteous attitude that will make guests the number one priority at all times.

·Attention to Detail: Should have a keen eye to detail on a lot of areas such food standards, service, costs, safety to enhance the customer’s overall F&B experience.

·Leadership and Ownership Skills: Must be a leader both in front as well as back of house, rallying the team during heavy shifts, resolving conflicts, getting the job done and mentor and train staff to ensure the correct level of delivery of service.

·People and Work Management Skills: Need to deal with food costs, pricing and creating work schedules effectively. Ability to prioritize, anticipate situations, take time-bound actions to build and foster a overall healthy environment.

·Organizational Skills: Keeping work schedules, deliveries, cleaning schedules and being able to meet set deadlines are very crucial to the job. Need to manage a daily routine schedule that is equal to “80% on the floor” and “20% in the office” approach.

·Problem-Solving Skills: Dealing with employee conflicts and frictions and unhappy customers is a part of the job. Being able to come up with solutions quickly is a needed skill.

·Stamina: Ability to work independently, long hours if business demands and proactively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·Prepares and monitors annual F&B budget subject to approval by General Manager and Asst. General Manager – Finance. Projects monthly revenue goals and the expenses for the Food and Beverage department as well as generating various business volume forecasts and planning accordingly.

·Taking a complete ownership of the F&B department on issues and assigned tasks and also give detail update to the General Manager on the business plan as and when requested.

·Takes initiative to research for new products and develop an analysis of the cost and profit benefits for implementation of new revenue generating opportunities. Constantly strive to promote operational awareness and grow revenue and income at every possible opportunity.

·Responsible for gracious guest services and interaction from arrival to departure from outlets, attending to guests inquires, comments and concerns while representing Golden Sands Hotel Apartments in a very professional manner and appearance.

·Work with the Senior Chef, Sous Chef, Pastry Chef and Restaurant Supervisor closely to hold the standards of products and operational
