Important information about the job:

The Financial Accountant is in charge of managing the Company’s accounting and financial operations on a daily and monthly basis, as well as interfacing with important business stakeholders such as the Financial Shared Service Centre (FSSC). The Financial Accountant assists the company by gathering, analyzing, researching, and reporting necessary financial data.

  • Accounts Responsibilities Accounts payable activities include timely filing of invoices and payment requests, planned pay-outs, and petty cash reimbursement reconciliation.
  • Accounts Responsibilities Receivables activities include ensuring that consignments and credit sales are appropriately recorded, as well as timely collection and bookkeeping reconciliation.
  • Analysis of financial data, validation of accuracy, and reporting of information to important stakeholders are all responsibilities of this position.
  • Ensure that weekly and monthly cashflow and cash balance information is prepared correctly.
  • Collaborate with relevant project teams to submit all asset transfer, new and/or refurbished store documentation, and prepare essential documents for shop closure or asset disposition.
  • Receive, track, and monitor invoices and payments related to your franchise.
  • Ensure the submission of paperwork, signatory approvals, transfer letters, and bank guarantees by managing bank-related processes.
  • When necessary, manage the repatriation of excess cash.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely General Ledger data, ensuring that balances are balanced and discrepancies are reported promptly.
  • Coordination and follow-up with all departments to guarantee proper posting of sales and inventory information, as well as the validation and reporting of any inconsistencies.
  • Assist the Finance department with internal and external auditing needs.
  • Contribute to and assist the company in accomplishing the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow strategy for long-term sustainability.
  • Assist all internal departments with financial enquiries by providing relevant data and information as needed.
  • Establish a professional connection with vendors by aiding them with questions and difficulties.
  • Act as a liaison between relevant Franchise contacts in the event of any discrepancies, ensuring that concerns are resolved.


  • Completion of month-end close in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with business deadlines
  • Payments are released in accordance with agreed-upon SLAs.
  • BSRs are reviewed monthly, and open points are resolved within the timeframes allotted.
  • Completion of KDS reconciliations within the allotted times
