Job Description

The Function

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Accountant and will be responsible for Accounts Receivable and Payable, General Ledger, and management accounting (O2C, P2P work streams).

• Knowledge of the ERP software ‘NetSuite’ is very advantageous (or similar products e.g. Oracle, SAP).

Principal Responsibilities:

  • ‘Order to Cash’: Additional support for organic growth and new company development
  • Concentration on receivables (debt), revenue reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Provide accounting support on a day-to-day basis, as well as during closings and audits.
  • Business partnerships with schools: increase awareness throughout the organization and serve as a primary contact for any accounting-related issues in schools.
  • Supervise petty cash confirmations and accounting by operation assistants in schools
  • Assist with supplier ledger reconciliations and staff expense claims
  • Provide critical support for internal and external audits
  • Develop processes and increase efficiencies across the functional areas handled
  • Instill financial discipline throughout the organization
  • Assist with ERP data migration and implementation initiatives
  • Constantly look for methods to improve finance processes and increase departmental efficiency


  • B.S. in Accounting/Finance
  • Qualified Accountant – CIMA, CA, ACCA, CPA


  • Minimum of two to three years of corporate finance expertise in a reputed organization
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP
  • Solid ERP system experience (accounting systems)
  • Prior experience in the education industry is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in an international organization (desirable, but not required)
  • Accounting expertise and ability to crunch numbers
  • Prioritization, time management, and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent skills in excel, power point, and outlook
  • Comfortable being exposed to Senior Management
