Job Description
Our client is searching for a Garde Chef / Cold Kitchen Chef who is creative and skilled in all elements of food preparation. You will be in complete command of the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Garde chefs also create recipes or follow existing ones, using a creative flair to their craft, but all the time maintaining records, ordering food, and enforcing food safety standards.
- Create and prepare all Appetizers and salads items as requires
- Come up with recipe idea from scratch
- Prepare, clean and organize ingredients for use in the kitchen
- Plan the menu of Appetizers and salads to complement savory items
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized at all times
- Oversee a team of junior Garde cooks and other staff members as necessary
- Maintain up to date knowledge about Appetizers and salads arts and ingredients
- Carry out administrative duties to maintain an efficient workspace
Requirements:
Preferably with Gulf experience
