Job Description

The Graphic Designer is responsible to direct and oversee the creation of visual merchandising designs, concepts and sample layouts ensuring adherence to THAT Brand guidelines

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:


Financial & Standards


Participate in the development of the business unit Creative strategy by providing input from the perspective of the Graphic Design, ensuring that relevant goals and objectives are incorporated.

Execute the Graphic Design strategy for THAT in line with the Brand overall creative direction.

Plan and implement graphic design elements in a large-scale execution such as creative campaigns, store take over, in-store set up, pop up stores, mall podiums, marketing collaterals.

Ensure specifications and dimensions of all stores are accurately cataloged and manage design concepts based on requirements of the Visual Merchandising team.

Creation of designs, creative concepts and sample layouts.

Prepare drawings ensuring details adhere to brand specifications and align to required colour scheme, make/ model of fixtures, quality of material to be used, its placement plan and cost.

Ensure that graphics, logos, illustrations and electronic communications adhere to the company’s branding policy and standards.

Ensure all Visual Merchandising designs and specifications are submitted to the Director – Creative and Visual within agreed SLA.

Update and maintain the Visual Merchandising display manual to assist in the production of all the Visual Merchandising materials required for all the stores and location.

Update and maintain store design plans and architectural details.

Maintain necessary documentation system for efficient and orderly storage and retrieval of documents/information. Maintain and update all necessary records, files and database.

Review the budget requirements of the Graphic Design function, and accordingly participate in the development of Brand’s budget.

Ensure the display designs are adhered at the time of installations and the suppliers are able to deliver the materials on time to the site.

Ensure the implementation of and conformance to established Visual Merchandising and Store Graphic Design Policies and Procedures, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.

Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer need in other Majid Al Futtaim Fashion brands and stores, if not available instore.

Build strong partnerships with members of the cross-functional teams such as, Buyers and Visual Merchandisers strengthening internal customer relationships.


Completes tasks and requirements as per agreed SLA’s and project timelines.

Good knowledge of Auto CAD Operation and preparing computerised drawings

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite Software, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, Corel Draw, 3D Studio Max, MS Office, Sketch Up, AutoCad.
