Job Description

As a Hotel Manager, you will demonstrate your leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as a keen eye for numbers and emerging trends. In addition to exhibiting talent and commitment, you will need to be nimble, resilient, and quick-thinking in order to provide an amazing guest journey. You will collaborate with and develop the team to provide exceptional guest service, consistently exceeding the highest possible standards while overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel’s operations. You will ensure that the hotel’s objectives are met and maintained at all times by maximizing occupancy, revenue, and preserving the hotel’s reputation.

  • Lead and manage all parts of the hotel’s services, ensuring that all service standards are adhered to while providing a friendly and engaging level of service.
  • Handle guest problems and respond immediately, tracking and contacting appropriate areas to ensure our guests have outstanding experiences.
  • Troubleshoot any operational issues that may arise.
  • Evaluate hotel performance and ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Budget management and expenditure control.
  • Revenue tracking, setting sales targets, and profit optimization.
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy to increase awareness of the hotel’s services and amenities.
  • Analyze sales numbers, reports, and the various market segments and distribution channels in order to determine the most effective pricing and distribution strategies.
  • Statistical and financial records maintenance.
  • Pursuing branding initiatives on a strategic level.

Desired Competence & Expertise

  • At least five years of experience as a hotel manager at a four- or five-star hotel.
  • A service-oriented mindset is required, as is prior leadership experience.
  • Previous experience with Opera or a similar system.
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing and maintaining positive connections with all stakeholders.
  • With great networking skills, clearly communicate views, activities, and possibilities.
  • Capacity to set an example, believe in a strong team culture, and create an environment conducive to high performance.
