Make special meals or use substitutes. Temperatures in ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters can be controlled. Take food from the freezer and place it in the refrigerator to defrost. Make certain that the meal is properly portioned, arranged, and garnished. Keep meal diaries. Keep an eye on the food’s quality and quantity. During hectic periods, communicate the need for assistance. Inform the Chef of any excess food products that will be used in daily specials. Inform the Food & Beverage service employees of any menu specials or out-of-stock items. Ensure that the food is of high quality. Meal should be prepared and cooked in accordance with recipes, quality standards, presentation requirements, and a food preparation checklist. Make cold foods.

Assist management with employee hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching; act as a role model. Follow all company and safety and security rules and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to manager; and complete all required safety training and certifications. Safeguard the cleanliness and professionalism of the uniform and personal appearance; maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information; and secure the company’s assets. Anticipate and respond to guests’ service needs. Communicate with others in a straightforward and professional manner. Develop and maintain positive working connections with others; assist team in achieving common goals; and listen to and respond properly to other employees’ concerns. Ensure that quality expectations and standards are met. For an extended amount of time, stand, sit, or stroll. Bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping are all examples of reaching overhead and below the knees. Without assistance, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds. Other acceptable job obligations as assigned by supervisors
