Job Description

Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is looking to hire an experienced Medical Director for our Dubai Office Branch with the following qualifications:


Minimum Education qualification
: MBBS Graduate. A Master's Degree in Healthcare Management is a plus

Should have a strong background in Remote Medicine.

Work Experience: 10 years minimum in healthcare management and clinical management

License: UAE Physician License

Location: Dubai, UAE

Administrative

  • Communicates regularly with key decision-makers in the company and provides the leadership needed to achieve medical care goals.
  • Participates in the development and periodic evaluation of care-related policies and procedures.
  • Guides and advises the facility’s committees related to quality assurance/performance improvement, pharmacy, infection control, safety, and medical care.
  • Participates in licensure and compliance requirements and interacts with outside regulatory agencies.
  • Informs medical staff about relevant policies and procedures, including updates.
  • Stays informed about factors that affect long-term care and incorporates relevant information about social, medical, and fiscal issues into policies and procedures.
  • Helps the facility develop or incorporate policies and procedures and utilize pertinent strategies to effect and manage change.

Professional Services

  • Organizes, coordinates, and monitors the activities of the medical staff and helps ensure that the quality and appropriateness of services meet client and regulatory standards.
  • Assures coverage for medical emergencies and participates in decisions about the facility’s emergency equipment, medications, and supplies.
  • Collaborates with Division Heads and Senior Managers to hold practitioners accountable for their performance and practice, including corrective actions as needed.
  • Leads the facility to establish affiliation agreements with other health care organizations and helps the facility establish effective outside relationships, for example, with regulatory agencies, various professional groups, insurers, ambulance companies, and emergency medical systems.
  • Ensures that the facility’s medical records systems meet the needs of patients, practitioners, and regulatory bodies.
