Pre-Sales Consultant – Attractive Salary + significant bonus and benefits package

Our partner client, recently acquired by a global player in the network cyber security industry and with ambitious plans for growth, requires a Pre-Sales Consultant to join their Sales and Delivery team for the META (Middle East, Turkey and Africa) region, based out of Dubai.

The Role:
With their cutting edge technology (top right quadrant), they are changing the way organisations manage their cloud and datacentre security. The role of the Pre-Sales Consultant is key in the Sales team, providing support to the sales team and prospective clients, to ensure successful acquisition and onboarding of new client projects. Responsibilities for this senior role in this fast paced environment will include:

Liaising with clients to understand their technical needs and exploring with them suitable options to support their ideas
Being a key focal point for all product related issues from the client perspective
Supporting the sales team with Client targets and plans
Assisting with technical proposals, presentations, technical designs and proof of concepts etc.
Providing best practice guidance by recommending policies and features to configure and use
Raising product related issues that should be looked at by the Product team
Keeping up to date with current/on-trend cyber security market knowledge to help guide the client with their challenges and support the delivery of new products and solutions
Being the “trusted advisor” point of contact for all clients and providing them with recommendations for products/services that will benefit their business
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partner organisations

This role would suit someone with a strong background and interest in network and infrastructure related security, who understands the threat landscape and the risk of cyber incidents and breaches. The ideal candidate will be someone who gets a kick out of customer success.

The role has flexibility for home/remote working or collaborating with colleagues in the office and on client sites and in client meetings (remote and face-to-face).

Skills and Experience Required:
Located in Dubai with excellent English language skills
At least 5 years in a Pre-Sales or B2B SaaS Customer Success role
Ability to articulate business/technical requirements to business/technical audiences
Successful track record of client acquisition and client onboarding
Ability to define key performance and success metrics and clearly articulate the means of measurement
Ability to both collaborate with team members on sales activity and client accounts and be self-motivated to be able to work independently
Communication skills – The ability to communicate exceptionally via in-person and video meetings is essential, to deliver meetings, presentations and documentation – and commercial awareness
Have deep understanding of network protocols on network devices and operating systems
Have an understanding of managing, monitoring and troubleshooting complex distributed applications
Be familiar with VMWare networking and VSphere
