Position: Accountant

Superior: Finance and Administration Manager

A. Targets of the position:

We are looking for a driven finance professional with strong accounting acumen to manage our AR collection and bookkeeping operations. Your goal is to ensure accurate and timely accounting while owning and driving bookkeeping, internal control and compliance with local regulations and company guidelines.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and an excellent communicator able to step up to the challenge in a fast-growing environment. You will be expected to work independently on your core duties while collaborating cross-functionally with other teams.

B. Tasks of position owner (“PO”)

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities

(in descending order of importance)


Invoicing of service and project on a timely manner based on IFRS 15

Collection of AR, reconciliation and dunning process

Supplier invoice verification with PO/receipt, expense reimbursement checking and AP booking


Responsible for cash & cheque deposit of customer payment; Coordination and preparation for guarantees and other bank requirements

Create an updated inventory list with purchase price on a weekly basis

Assisting in monthly closing, budget, forecast, cash flow planning & ad hoc reporting

Assisting in the preparation of tax, audit and regulatory reporting requirements

Creation and maintenance of customer/vendor master data in AX

Admin & HR

Office management, including office purchasing, internal organization, travel arrangement & liaise with other service suppliers.
Ensure these office costs are kept within budget

Responsible for office tenancy, employee visa/EID, trade licenses, insurance, car renewal, etc.

Administrative support regarding company cars including monitoring of car pool use

Generate and update company documents, organizational chart, templates and local policies

Support Sales team for vendor registration

Update of facility and masterdata database minimum twice a year or as requested

Any other adhoc task

All HQ departments

Customers, distribution partners, suppliers

Banks, auditors, tax advisors, lawyers

Logistics partner


D. Qualification

1. Education:
➢ Appropriate education in accounting, finance, business administration (business school, university degree administration/economics)
➢ Certified / Chartered Accountant or equivalent

2. Functional competence:
➢ Accounting

– Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation
– IFRS knowledge

➢ Tax
➢ Controlling
➢ Administration
➢ Minimum 5 years experience in an equivalent position

3. Competence of methods:
➢ Process orientation: experience in process improvement projects, understanding of business processes
➢ Ability to build up and handle information systems (ERP, Microsoft Dynamic, MS

➢ Experience with authorities, lawyers and auditors

4. Social competence:
➢ Team orientation combined with distinctive assertiveness

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED5,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
